British American Tobacco Nigeria has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Analyst in Ibadan

Your key responsibilities will include:

  •  Calibrate all equipment daily before use and document appropriately.
  • Report any faults found on instruments immediately and in the correct manner.
  •  Collect routine samples of products in line with minimum requirement for PQI/RQA and relevant protocols.
  • Carry out physical analysis of product samples in line with relevant protocols.
  • Support Quality Improvement Initiatives.
  • Ensure distribution of results in timely manner.
  • Responsible for incoming inspection of purchased item
  • Comply with all EHS guidelines and procedures for laboratory function
  • Ensure compliance with disposal of hazardous waste.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of National Diploma in any of the sciences related courses
  • 2-3 years minimum experience years in the field
  • Good knowledge of laboratory processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge in ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 : 2015
  • Knowledge of equipment software like Chemstation, Flow Access etc. – added advantage
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools
  • Good coordination skills.
  • Good troubleshooting skills & reporting skills
