LOCATION: Budapest, Hungary

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

British American Tobacco is looking for a passionate, highly motivated Trade Marketing Deployment Executive with a positive and can-do attitude, to join our Marketing department, based in Budapest.

The Trade Marketing Deployment Executive will contribute to the development and implementation of trade marketing strategy by driving the Trade cycle plan, monitoring activity performance and supporting successful delivery of new product launches with development of effective trade marketing tools.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  •  Responsible for managing Trade activity related Creative Agencies and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Leading the development of long-term Retailer Engagement program, develops and maintains the online B2B platform.
  • Continuously monitors competition activities, drives improvement ideas.
  • Responsible for full Trade Marketing budget planning and monitoring
  • Cooperates with CE cluster Shopper Marketing and Business Development team.
  • Strong cooperation with Field Force Manager and Trade Marketing Area Managers
  • Brings innovative ideas to enhance growth targets.
  •  Prepares activity recommendations and activity evaluations for all Trade activities.
  • Develops and maintains POS marketing tools developments. Always seeking for new opportunities regarding POS highlighting
  • Provides valuable inputs to maximize the marketing contracts’ effectiveness.
  •  Support successful delivery of new product launches with development of effective Trade marketing tools.
  •  Creates and manages the production of POS tools for longer and shorter terms to support new product launches.
  • Strong cooperation with Field Force to deliver expected launch results.
  • Leading the development of long-term Retailer Engagement program.
  • Implements Retailer engagement program to support business objectives.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • At least 2-3-years of experience in Marketing and/or similar roles within FMCG organization
  • University degree in Marketing/ Business Administration/Economics etc.
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian is a must.
  • Excellent & effective communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Analytical skills with focus on creating business recommendations & conclusions.
  • Team player with pro-active “can do” attitude.
  • Understanding of market and consumer/shopper dynamics.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Proven track record of on time in full delivery. 
  • Advanced MS Office skills: MS Word, Excel, Power Point
