ALLOWANCE/SALARY RANGE: Starting at RM 5,400 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus

LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Team Lead is responsible to support the PCCOE function by ensuring the required reports and product costing enquires are delivered timely, accurately and at minimum cost while maintaining excellent communication with partners of the LATAM.

Reports to:Assistant Manager – Product Costing

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: LATAM (Latin America) South region

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Lead all aspects of various tasks like NPI Costing, reconciliations, and financial analysis using SAP-ECC and standardized processes.
• Lead period-end activities including Material Ledger closure as per schedule.
• Promptly address inquiries to cultivate a collaborative culture.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports within agreed timelines for market analysis.
• Review reports for accuracy and address outstanding issues promptly.
• Supervise Key Performance Indicators and maintain internal controls for risk management.
• Update task descriptions and manuals to ensure knowledge retention.
• Support migration projects and provide ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Test new systems and processes to minimize disruptions.
• Lead by example to promote a strong work ethic.
• Assist in team training and development to meet role expectations.
• Manage prioritization to optimize team efficiency.
• Resolve conflicts within the team fairly and sensitively.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide career counseling.
• Improve control environment through training initiatives.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement at middle management level.
• Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum experience of 2-3 years in Product Costing / Supply Chain Finance.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting and MEC would be highly advantageous.
• Preferably to have supervisory capacity and experience using SAP system.
• Sophisticated level of MS Office and PPT with proficiency in Power BI, Macros and Microsoft Excel.
• Understand and able to apply relevant financial skills & knowledge.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• A proven track record in improvement efficiencies.
• Able to commit to shift workdays as and when required.
