Purchasing Planner

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

• Responsible to ensure that the raw material requirements of the factories are met with no interruption to supply continuity whilst adhering to the stock holding policy and key KPI’s
• To work closely with key internal and external stakeholders raising and expediting material orders to mitigate potential issues and avoid any production disruption.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Place material purchase orders/contracts in-line with supplier lead-times to meet multiple factory production plan requirements in SAP and Rapid Response system, whilst maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier price.
• Support the execution of cost reduction activities initiated by procurement, factory, & NPI teams.
• Manage any out of stock risks & resolve with clear actions and communication with the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure master data & transactional data accuracy in SAP and Rapid Response.
• Explore & identify opportunities for improved planning efficiency and placing of materials orders.

What are we looking for?

• At least 1 year in direct raw material planning experience with logistics, Supply chain or equivalent preferred but not essential.
• Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills.
• Good English proficiency (100% of the work is in English).
• High knowledge in Excel, SAP, Rapid Response and PBI preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration & communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in fast moving high pressure environment.
• Logistics, Supply chain or equivalent preferred but not essential.
