WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Plant Performance Analyst

SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Non-Management Level

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: Lead Manager Plant Performance

Number of Direct Reports: NA

Core Relationships: Internal Manufacturing Depts

Geographic Scope: Local

Travel Required: 0%-10%

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Routinely monitor and continuously improve existing raw data capture feeding OMS system and ensure accuracy of plant KPI calculations. Work with applicable stakeholders (Dept, Process Support and Brock) to ensure any discrepancies are addressed and closed in a timely manner.
  • Work with departmental stakeholders to incorporate additional data capture capability to enhance loss elimination focus within departments. Integration into our OMS platform. Test system enhancements leading into integration to OMS Prod and train end users in accessing and interpreting data.
  • Building additional tools such as Power BI to provide easy reporting and graphical trending based on data being fed into OMS platform. Plant wide and dependent on stakeholder needs.
  • Training on system tools and dashboard reporting capability within departments to build capability (Ignition, Excel, Power BI, etc.,)
  • Support Plant Performance Manager in Phase 1 Hard measures monthly KPI tracking and MPD dashboard/GMALT submission.
  • Loss Elimination team support (plant wide) building capability in continuous improvement tools used including but not limited to: IPS | UPS | Processing Mapping | Change Control, etc.
  • Forecasting using data and statistical trending to support loss elimination and continuous improvement efforts being driven by Plant Performance Manager within departments.

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Have you worked in team settings where problem solving tools were used?
  • Do you have experience in data analysis, trending and/or forecasting?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years manufacturing experience or AA Degree with 2 Years manufacturing experience.
  • Understanding of and ability to perform data analysis and root cause analysis on assigned machines, equipment, and processes.
  • Participation in or leader of problem-solving team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels within the organization and with external vendors.
  • Microsoft Office Experience: Word/Excel (Intermediate-Advanced) /PowerPoint.
  • Root Cause Analysis experience including but not limited to Pareto, 5Why, Fishbone, Scatter and FMEA
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
